This platform is operated by an individual. For any privacy or legal requests, contact help@ismyfavoritehuman.com. We aim to respond within 7 days.

When you create a tribute page, we may collect:

• Identity & contact data: your email address, optional display name
• Content you provide: the honoree's name, your message, and photos you upload (which may include faces and other personal imagery)
• Payment data: transaction identifiers and payment status. Card, UPI, and bank details are processed directly by Razorpay — we do not store full payment credentials
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and upload session identifiers used for abuse prevention and rate limiting

Under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the SPDI Rules, 2011, email addresses and financial information are treated as sensitive personal data. We collect them only with your consent and for the purposes described below.

• To create, host, and display your tribute page for the purchased duration
• To process payment and send order confirmations
• To send expiry reminders and renewal links to your email
• To moderate uploaded images for prohibited content
• To respond to support requests, abuse reports, and legal notices
• To prevent fraud, spam, and automated abuse

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:

• Razorpay — payment processing (email, order amount, transaction IDs)
• Sightengine — automated image moderation (uploaded image bytes; no personal identifiers attached)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (your email, tribute name, renewal links)
• Cloudflare — CDN hosting for images, CAPTCHA (Turnstile), and DDoS protection
• Supabase — database hosting (encrypted at rest)

We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

Tribute pages are publicly accessible at your chosen subdomain (e.g. emma.ismyfavoritehuman.com). Anyone with the link can view the name, message, and photos. We set noindex headers so search engines should not index tribute pages, but we cannot guarantee third-party crawlers will respect this. Do not upload content you would not want someone with the link to see.

Active tribute pages remain online for your purchased duration. After expiry, pages go offline and associated data is permanently deleted 30 days later unless you renew. Abandoned drafts (unpaid) are deleted within 24 hours. Payment records may be retained longer as required for accounting and tax compliance.

You may:

• Withdraw consent — email us to request deletion of your data before or after purchase (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Request access or correction — email us with your tribute subdomain or order email
• Request deletion — we will delete your tribute and associated data on request, typically within 7 business days

If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Email help@ismyfavoritehuman.com to exercise any of these rights.

We use HTTPS everywhere, rate limiting, CAPTCHA on sensitive actions, automated content moderation, and access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
